Hotel Oldinn, Cesky Krumlov

Staying at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the room only had one electrical outlet for guest use and could be noisy on certain days, it offered a great view of the square. The staff was excellent, and the restaurant attached served delicious Czech and Western food.

Staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The location is just fantastic, right on the main square of charming Cesky Krumlov with many great restaurants nearby. The rooms were adequate and I even got one overlooking the main square. However, the shower was quite small. The service was a bit hit or miss, with some staff showing great willingness to help while others seemed less interested. The dining options were good, offering a nice selection of Czech and international food, but slightly overpriced. The facilities were decent, nothing extraordinary but satisfactory.

Staying at the hotel was like experiencing nostalgia in a large, old-fashioned room overlooking the bustling city square. We enjoyed observing all the festivities below but found the side view somewhat limiting. The service was incredibly helpful, accommodating a room upgrade and arranging shuttle services promptly. However, the anticipation of obtaining the key on official check-in time was a bit inconvenient.
